Job Summary and Qualifications

A Medical Technologist is a proficient healthcare professional responsible for testing and analyzing blood, bodily fluids, and tissue samples. This role involves operating and maintaining the necessary equipment for specimen analysis and ensuring timely and accurate test results.

This position requires working alternate weekends.

Qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science.
  • Certification as MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA), or relevant subspecialty certifications such as BB (ASCP), C (ASCP), M (ASCP), etc.
  • New graduates will have a one-year grace period from their graduation date to obtain the required ASCP/CLS certification, and they must sign an agreement acknowledging this requirement.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring a high level of accuracy; attention to detail and strong verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and instrumentation, as well as keyboarding skills.
