Senior Accounting Analyst

Kforce's client is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst that will work out of their Reading, PA office. Monday-Friday - hybrid (in office 4 days a week). Responsibilitites: Ensure accuracy of financial statements Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Prepare/review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis Support audit requests and provide documentation to external auditors Assist with technical accounting matters (ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 lease accounting) Support financial reporting and consolidation activities Analyze account activity, research discrepancies, and identify process improvements Utilize Excel for reporting and analysis (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs) and learn proprietary systems Requirements: 5+ years accounting experience (willing to look at someone with 4 years but must have strong technical accounting experience) Strong revenue recognition experience (ASC 606 preferred) Contract review experience Experience determining gross vs. net revenue Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables) Experience with reporting tools such as Power Query and Tableau The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
