Medical Assistant - Towne Lake

Public - Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider examinations.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
• Administer immunizations and injections following established protocols.
• Perform routine in-office testing and assist with specimen collection as needed.
• Accurately document patient information within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Prepare exam rooms, maintain clinical supplies, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.
• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions as directed by the provider.
• Assist providers with procedures and other clinical tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Support the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day.

Public - Required Skills

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, including administering injections, immunizations, and obtaining vital signs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
