The University of Texas Medical Branch seeks an Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice, Dermatology, to support patient care, resident education, and the department's threefold mission of teaching, research, and clinical service. This role offers an 80% clinical, 10% academic, and 10% administrative structure, with a predictable Monday-Friday schedule and opportunities to build a niche, add optional procedures, and participate in scholarly activity. Faculty practice across Galveston and League City clinical locations, including Victory Lakes Town Center, Stewart Road Clinic, and the main campus clinic. Candidates will join a collaborative, low-turnover department with strong faculty satisfaction, resident engagement, Epic, and ambient documentation support.

This is an empowering opportunity for a dermatologist who wants the resources of an established academic health system, the flexibility to shape clinical interests, and the belonging of a cohesive faculty and resident group. New hires currently start at $450,000, with a two-year guarantee, work relative value unit incentive structure after the guarantee period, $5,000 in annual continuing medical education support, quality incentive eligibility, and realistic earning potential above targets.
