Job Description
Make a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys by serving as a School Psychologist in a dynamic K-8 setting. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise, either on-site or virtually, supporting several elementary schools and a middle school near Columbus, Indiana. The assignment runs from August 5, 2026, through May 19, 2027, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Indiana license in School Psychology (required for all candidates)
- Previous experience conducting psychoeducational assessments strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of special education law, compliance, and eligibility criteria
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary staff and engaging with families to support student well-being
- Adaptability to shift between in-person and remote service delivery as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete 60–80 special education evaluations over the course of the school year
- Serve PreK-6 elementary sites and a 7th/8th grade middle school, with flexibility based on delivery method
- Produce clear, comprehensive documentation and communicate findings to staff and families
- Actively participate in monthly team meetings and report directly to the district supervisor
- Support the broader school community in creating safe, inclusive learning environments for all students
