Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Assignment)
Pay Rate: $50.77 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (Shift rotation may be required)

Make an Impact Across the Aircraft Lifecycle
As a Technical Design Engineer, you'll support aircraft programs from design and production through fleet support. You'll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams to create practical design solutions, support product improvements, and resolve technical challenges in real time.
Your expertise will help transform engineering concepts into detailed product definitions that support safe, reliable, and efficient aircraft production.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Create and modify detailed parts, assemblies, installations, and product structures
- Translate engineering concepts and technical requirements into accurate physical part geometry and assembly definitions
- Perform model definition updates and design revisions using CATIA or equivalent CAD tools
- Support product and process issue resolution during fabrication and production activities
- Review engineering specifications, materials documentation, and process requirements
- Identify and assess non-conformances and help develop corrective and preventive actions
- Support engineering laboratory investigations and failure analysis activities
- Collaborate with Design, Stress, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supplier teams to solve complex engineering challenges
- Evaluate emerging technologies for potential aerospace applications
- Develop technical documentation, specifications, and requirements supporting products, materials, equipment, and processes
- Participate in fast-paced, cross-functional environments focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
Required Qualifications
We're seeking candidates who have:
- Associate degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 9+ years of aerospace design experience
- Experience working with aircraft detail parts and assembly structures
- Strong knowledge of product structure development, including:
- Detail parts
- Assemblies
- Installations
- Experience using CATIA or equivalent solid modeling software
- Experience using Integrated Visualization Tool (IVT)
- Understanding of machining processes for metallic parts
- Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) principles and applications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic production environment

Pay Details: $50.77 per hour
