Staff & Sr Accountants (Hybrid Pembroke or Natick)

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Staff/Senior Accountant (Public Accounting) for a hybrid role in Pembroke or Natick, MA. Kforce is partnering with a growing, multi-location public accounting firm seeking to add a Staff or Senior Accountant due to continued expansion. Why this role: 100% firm-paid medical coverage 401(k) plan Hybrid schedule (remote flexibility a few days/week) Strong growth environment with exposure across Audit, Tax and Advisory Established firm with a diverse client base (mid-sized businesses + nonprofits) Key Tasks: Support and coordinate engagement planning (staffing, scheduling, workflow) Monitor engagements to ensure timelines and budgets are met Execute and lead complex areas of audit and accounting work Review workpapers for accuracy and compliance with firm standards Review financial statements, reports, and tax returns Assist in mentoring and guiding junior staff on engagements Requirements: Background sought: Public accounting experience (audit/tax mix preferred) CPA or pursuing Strong technical accounting and client-facing skills Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
