Your Impact in This Role
This is a remarkable opportunity for an OBGYN physician to join a thriving and respected practice, backed by a strong referral network and the extensive resources of a comprehensive health system.
Key Responsibilities:
Become part of a well-established team of 8 OBGYN physicians.
Work in a mixed practice setting (Inpatient/Outpatient).
Provide 32 hours of outpatient care each week.
Manage 24-hour in-house call, averaging 3 deliveries per 24 hours.
Participate in a call rotation of 1:10.
Conduct surgeries for about 4 hours weekly, with 5-6 hospital cases monthly.
Utilize advanced technologies, including the DaVinci Robot.
Perform key procedures such as robotic surgery, myosure, cerene, and sonata.
Engage with a diverse patient population in a lakeside location, conveniently close to Chicago and Milwaukee.
Contribute to the expansion of our Women’s Services program, including the launch of a 24/7 Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) model for continuous obstetric coverage.
Assist in transitioning our labor and delivery triage into a dedicated Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED) to enhance patient safety and care.
Deliver medical services to patients in your designated area.
Assess and treat patients using appropriate diagnostic and treatment skills, coordinating discharge planning with case management.
Engage in initiatives to enhance cost-effectiveness and quality of care.
Accept referrals from other physicians and act as the admitting, attending, or consulting physician as needed.
Participate in academic programs, including medical education and research, as requested.
Ensure proper documentation that meets insurance requirements and appeal any denials promptly.
Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations, which may include on-call duties.

Practice environment includes a Women’s Center with lab, MFM, and a clinic within a health pavilion attached to the hospital. The facility is a Level III trauma center with all specialties and primary care available.

Minimum Qualifications Required
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
MD/DO credentials from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board must be obtained prior to the hire or transfer date.
Advanced Life Support certification preferred; accepted from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) is required.
