Job Description

This contract assignment is ideal for a passionate educator who is certified in special education in Georgia, ready to work with either elementary or high school students. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to design individualized learning plans, ensuring every student receives the attention and resources they need to succeed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia certification in special education
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of elementary or high school students
- Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative teaching
- Flexibility to adapt instructional strategies based on student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct instruction and ensure accommodations are in place
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, therapists, and family members
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
This position is set to begin on August 3, 2026, and will conclude on May 27, 2027. Working 35 to 37.5 hours per week across five days, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact during the academic year. The hourly pay for this role is $38.
