Position Overview

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end-user devices and workplace technology in a corporate environment. This individual will be responsible for supporting Windows and macOS systems, mobile devices, printers, conference room technology, and enterprise applications while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have experience with endpoint deployment, PC refresh projects, imaging technologies, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting audio/visual collaboration tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite and remote support for Windows PCs, Macs, printers, and mobile devices (iOS and Android).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripheral issues.
  • Support PC refresh initiatives, including device imaging, deployment, migration, and user setup.
  • Utilize SCCM and Microsoft Autopilot for device provisioning, imaging, and deployment activities.
  • Configure, install, and support conference room technologies including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Cisco Webex systems.
  • Provide audio/visual support for meetings, presentations, and collaboration spaces.
  • Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests using enterprise ticketing systems.
  • Utilize remote support tools to assist users across multiple locations.
  • Perform basic Active Directory administration, including password resets, user account management, and group membership updates.
  • Assist with software deployments and updates through Group Policy and endpoint management tools.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation of technical issues and resolutions.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams when necessary.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of Desktop Support, Technical Support, or End User Computing experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience supporting printers, mobile devices, and peripheral hardware.
  • Experience with PC refresh projects, device imaging, and deployments.
  • Working knowledge of SCCM and/or Microsoft Autopilot.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, or other conference room AV technologies.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and IT ticketing systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory administration.
  • Knowledge of Group Policy-based software deployments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting users in an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and endpoint management.
  • Familiarity with Intune or other modern device management platforms.
  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or other relevant technical certifications.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Buffalo, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
