Senior Accountant - Retail, E-commerce, CPG

Kforce's client, a strong high-end niche retail, e-commerce and CPG company headquartered in New York, NY, would like to hire Senior Accountant. The company has a beautiful office in midtown Manhattan. Their business model is very stable, profitable, and self-funding. This is a company and management team that is very forward-thinking on the use of technology, automation, and artificial intelligence. The work schedule, although flexible when things come up, will be heavy in office and 5 days most weeks. Duties will include: Month end close Financial statement prep External audit support Journal entries Month end close Accountant analysis and reconciliation Inventory and cost accounting Fixed Assets accounting Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a must; An advanced degree such as a Master's in Accounting is a plus CPA a must Retail, food, beverage, hospitality, or CPG industry experience a plus Experience with ERPs (like Sage, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) a plus Big 4 or other public accounting/audit experience a plus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
