JOB TITLE: Staff Accountant JOB LOCATION: Ft Myers , FL WAGE RANGE*: 20 - 25/ hour must be W2 JOB NUMBER:37465660 JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and providing valuable insights to drive business decisions. What you'll do: Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes. Analyze financial data and trends to identify variances, risks, and opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and resolve accounting issues. Prepare reports and present findings to management in a clear and concise manner. Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Continuously seek process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.
