Job Description

Multiple contract opportunities are available for educators with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents with diverse needs. These positions are available across a variety of settings, including behavior and adaptive programs, elementary, middle school, and resource classrooms.
Ideal candidates bring experience in special education and a true dedication to fostering growth in students of all abilities. You will collaborate closely with other teachers, school staff, and families to provide engaging, individualized instruction tailored to specific student needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Department of Education Standard K-12 Certification in Special Education
- Active fingerprint clearance card required
- Licensed to teach in Arizona for the duration of the contract
- Prior experience in special education settings preferred
- Strong skills in classroom management, behavioral intervention, and individualized instruction

- Elementary Behavior Program
- Middle School Resource
- Middle School Behavior Program
- K-8 Behavior Program
- Elementary Adaptive Program
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide targeted instruction and behavioral intervention
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Engage with families and contribute to team meetings
- Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Assignment Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Academic year: 7/29/26 - 5/20/27 (student days) | 7/20/26 - 5/21/27 (teacher days/new teacher orientation)
- Five positions available—each onsite
