Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education certification required
- Must have documented coursework/credits in Math
- Alternatively, candidates with a Teacher of the Handicapped certification and Math credits will be considered
- Experience working with diverse student populations in special education settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs
Your Role:
- Deliver individualized and small-group math instruction to students with special needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Work closely with parents, therapists, and other educational professionals to support each learner’s success
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages engagement and growth
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates on student progress
