School Psychologist | Mckeesport, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful difference in educational communities as a School Psychologist supporting students and staff. This contract opportunity is based at Monessen Elementary Center and offers flexibility for both full-time and part-time schedules (minimum three days per week). The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 11, 2027.

Initially, you’ll provide coverage for a maternity leave through January 19, 2027 (date subject to change). After this period, you may transition into a floating position for the second semester, participating in student evaluations, supporting adult education, and providing services where needs arise.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Educator Certificate (required)
• Proven experience in school psychology or similar educational settings
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, faculty, and families
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and manage diverse caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive student assessments and provide insightful recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective interventions
• Support social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of students
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other key meetings as a vital team member
• Deliver consultative and direct services, including evaluations and support for both K-12 students and adult education programs
• Maintain confidential, accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
