Services are provided entirely in person at a single site, making your days streamlined and student-focused.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Licensed and certified Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in school-based settings.
  • Comfortable working with students across grades 2 through post-secondary.
  • Familiarity with a range of needs, from mild to moderate/severe.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including another OT and a COTA.
  • Strong organizational skills for documentation and preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services that align with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
  • Accurately document all services provided, ensuring compliance and timely record-keeping.
  • Engage in regular preparation time (8am-9am) and set aside daily documentation time (2pm-3pm).
  • Adapt and tailor therapeutic activities to serve 15 students with varied support needs.
  • Communicate and coordinate with classroom staff, directors, and coordinators for seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to a supportive, collaborative campus community.

Schedule & Perks:

  • Approximately 18-20 hours per week, with the flexibility to shape your schedule (for example, three 6-hour days or varying as needed).
  • Core hours between 8am-3pm, with an hour designated for lunch.
  • Start date August 24th through approximately December 14th.
