Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a Special Education Teacher working with children ages 3-5 in a supportive academic environment near Siasconset, MA. This contract opportunity runs from September 2026 through June 2027 and is ideal for educators passionate about helping early learners reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications:

  • Active Special Education Teacher certification in Massachusetts required
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working with preschool-age children (ages 3-5)
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff
  • Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners and foster an inclusive classroom environment
  • A commitment to professional excellence and continual growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead classroom instruction and individualized support for students with varying needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state regulations
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and paraprofessionals
  • Cultivate a positive, nurturing, and engaging classroom atmosphere
  • Collaborate with families to support student goals and encourage progress
  • Accurately document student development and maintain compliance with program standards

This full-time contract position offers 35 hours each week, Monday through Friday, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students and colleagues alike.
