Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services to young learners from Pre-K through 4th grade in a supportive educational setting. Your expertise can make a meaningful difference for students across two nearby school buildings with a schedule that offers work-life balance—three days per week, onsite, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (with a half-hour unpaid lunch), totaling 19.5 hours weekly. This assignment is available for immediate start and runs through June 26, 2026.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with current credentials
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Comfortable working with Pre-K–4th grade students, both individually and in small groups
- Strong skills in evaluation, assessment, and progress monitoring
- Clear and concise report writing, with the ability to present findings to educational teams and families
- Effective communication for consultation and collaboration with teachers, staff, and caregivers
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services tailored to students’ IEP goals and developmental needs
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, interpreting results and preparing comprehensive reports
- Provide consultative support to teachers and team members on strategies for classroom and schoolwide success
- Participate in IEP meetings, presenting evaluation outcomes and progress updates
- Maintain clear, organized documentation and complete progress reports within established timelines
