School-Based Physical Therapist - The Villages, Florida

On-site service is essential, providing direct and indirect therapy across multiple campuses and a diverse, engaging caseload.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Professional Physical Therapy License.
• Background working with children in educational or pediatric environments preferred (school-based experience is strongly valued, but not required).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff.
• Comfortable providing hands-on PT services and documentation for students K-12 (including some Pre-K).
• Adaptability to itinerant travel—typically visiting 2-3 schools daily, with support from a fellow PT and PTA.
• Prepared for a thorough, two-stage onboarding process including district credentialing and required paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide both direct and consultation physical therapy to students, adapting interventions to support IEP goals.
• Travel between assigned schools to deliver individualized assessments and services (students ages 3-18).
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Engage positively with diverse student populations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to a supportive educational environment that fosters physical well-being and inclusivity.
