$25,000 SIGN-ON BONUS (Full-time) \n
\nOhioHealth is offering a $25,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year work commitment for full-time opportunities. Part-time new hires are eligible to receive $12,500 with a one-year work commitment. Previously employed applicants who have been gone from the organization more than 90 days may also be eligible. And there's no waiting for benefits . . . eligibility is on day one of employment!\n

\nDue to expansion across the organization, OhioHealth is hiring multiple Radiation Therapists. We have full-time, part-time and casual (as needed) opportunities at multiple locations across the system.\n

\nThe Radiation Therapist delivers radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. He/she prepares patients for a course of Radiation Therapy inclusive of simulation, dose calculations and acquiring of treatment parameters.\n
\n
\nAs a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties. \n

Responsibilities And Duties:

\n

35%\n
\nAdministers Radiation Therapy treatments on a daily basis.\n
\n20%\n
\nMaintains daily record of treatment, inclusive of daily dosages and calculations and other necessary treatment records.\n
\n5%\n
\nPerforms simulations, acquires treatment parameters, patient contours and dose calculations.\n
\n10%\n
\nTherapists who are scheduled to work 80 hours per pay, may be required to be on-call for weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.\n
\n10%\n
\nMaintains patient schedules for In-Patients and Out-Patients communicates frequently with families and hospital personnel to maintain schedule coordination and accommodate patients as best as possible.\n

\nMonitors patient Condition and progress on a daily basis. i.e., patient weighs, skin care, reaction, etc. .\n
\n5%\n
\nAssists Radiation Oncologist in performance of Brachytherapy procedures. Oversees and directs clinical activities of Radiation Therapy Technology students. Provides clinical insight to Radiologic Technology students, nursing students, etc. as needed.\n

\nParticipates in Department Clinical QA activities, new patient conference, tumor board and QRM.\n
\n

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's DegreeAART-ODH - American Registry of Radiologic Technology - American Association of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, LIC - Licensed in Field - State of Ohio\n

Registered with the ARRT and licensed to practice in the State of Ohio, graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Technology Training Program, and BLS Certification.
