Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in the state
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills with both students and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse student populations and changing needs
  • Familiarity with documentation requirements for educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students with varying abilities
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with student needs
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation aligned with school and regulatory standards
  • Track student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to meet outlined goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
