Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in the state
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication skills with both students and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse student populations and changing needs
- Familiarity with documentation requirements for educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students with varying abilities
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with student needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation aligned with school and regulatory standards
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to meet outlined goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
