This contract position offers the chance to work within supportive educational environments at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, managing diverse caseloads and providing tailored instruction.
In this dynamic role, you’ll work primarily within a push-in service model alongside other dedicated professionals, cultivating inclusive classrooms where every student can thrive. You’ll have a choice between several roles: teaching a caseload of 15-20 students in either elementary or high school, or supporting a small group of 4 in a center-based setting at the middle school level.
What you’ll need:
• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Background in implementing IEPs and adapting instruction for various learning needs
• Experience collaborating with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Flexibility to support students in both individual and group settings
• Ability to build meaningful connections with students of varying ages
Key responsibilities:
• Deliver specialized instruction across designated caseloads
• Collaborate with colleagues in push-in service delivery
• Monitor students’ progress and contribute to IEP development and meetings
• Maintain detailed records and provide feedback to students and families
• Create engaging resources and learning opportunities for all ability levels
• Adapt to changing needs and provide meaningful support where it’s needed most
