Job Description
Bring your expertise in school psychology to a role where your assessment skills and collaborative spirit will directly impact student success. This is a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students, where you’ll complete vital special education evaluations and help shape individualized learning plans. Flexibility is available: preference is for in-person practitioners holding an active Indiana license, but experienced virtual candidates with appropriate credentials may also be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana School Psychologist license (required)
- Background in psychoeducational assessments with an emphasis on eligibility determination
- Knowledge of special education law and compliance practices
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators and families
- Capacity to manage a robust assessment caseload
Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 60-80 special education evaluations through the school year
- Serve multiple campuses, presently including three PreK-6 elementary schools and one 7th/8th grade middle school (assignments may adjust based on work modality)
- Provide detailed reports and participate in eligibility meetings
- Engage with staff and families to address student learning and behavioral needs
- Attend monthly team meetings and report to the district supervisor
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold compliance with all regulatory requirements
