Registered Respiratory Therapist in Denver, CO

Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist in acute care settings
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Strong knowledge of ventilator management, therapeutic procedures, and emergency protocols
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care for patients of all ages
• Administer therapies such as oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Operate and maintain complex respiratory equipment, including ventilators and monitors
• Respond promptly to emergency situations such as code blues and provide airway management support as needed
• Accurately document all interventions, patient responses, and communicate critical information to medical staff
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments, home care instructions, and disease prevention strategies
