Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan is seeking an Adult Residential Support Professional to join our team at Neillsville Center. Neillsville Center provides residential substance use treatment for men in a supportive, recovery-focused environment.

\n

As an Adult Residential Support Professional, you'll provide guidance, supervision, and compassionate support to residents while helping create a safe, structured environment that promotes recovery and independence. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll help residents build life skills, achieve treatment goals, and move toward lasting recovery.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 3:45 p.m.–12:15 a.m.
\n
• Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m.
\n
• Weekend shifts are required.
\n

Essential Duties & Responsibilities\n

• Provide supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents.
\n
• Build positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
\n
• Observe, document, and report resident behaviors, progress, and daily activities.
\n
• Support residents in achieving individualized treatment goals.
\n
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations.
\n
• Monitor and/or administer medications in accordance with program policies.
\n
• Assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, grocery shopping, and other daily living activities.
\n
• Transport residents to appointments, meetings, and other approved activities.
\n
• Collect urine specimens for urinalysis and administer breathalyzer tests as required.
\n
• Facilitate educational and life skills groups within program guidelines.
\n
• Maintain confidentiality while communicating professionally with residents, coworkers, and community partners.
\n
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
\n
• Perform other duties as assigned.
\n

QualificationsRequired\n

\n
• High school diploma or GED.
\n
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
\n
• Ability to pass required background, caregiver, and medical clearances.
\n
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
\n

Preferred\n

\n
• Experience working in substance use treatment, behavioral health, mental health, human services, or a related field.
\n
• College coursework in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
\n
• DHS 83 training, or the ability to complete required training after hire.
\n

Work Environment\n

This position is based in a residential treatment setting and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and using stairs. Employees may assist with outdoor resident activities, seasonal property maintenance, and transportation of residents as needed.
