Special Education Teacher

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for a contract assignment in Indianapolis, IN for the 2026-2027 School Year.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 37.5 Hours/Week
• Start Date: 2026-2027 School Year
• Caseload: Middle School Resource Opening and Elementary Life Skills Room Opening
• Compensation: Competitive hourly pay with weekly direct deposit ($36+/hour depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with IEP goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet student needs
• Support a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Active Indiana Special Education Teaching License
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
