Bring your expertise to two distinct classroom environments:

• Elementary Classroom: Manage a caseload of 6 students, all requiring varying degrees of educational support. The focus is on instruction and personalized care, with toileting assistance required for some students. You'll have the consistent support of a dedicated teaching assistant and a behavior technician.
• Middle School Classroom: Guide 11 students, including one with a feeding tube and several with mild behavioral needs—there are no behavior management crises to navigate. Some students need toileting assistance. Benefit from the help of three full-time teaching assistants, another teacher, and a 1:1 support for the student with specialized health needs.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Special Education licensure or eligibility in the state
• Experience teaching in elementary and/or middle school settings
• Comfort with toileting assistance and willingness to learn basic feeding protocols
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom atmosphere

In this role, your day-to-day will include:

• Delivering individualized and small-group instruction adapted to varied learning needs
• Collaborating with teaching assistants and behavioral support staff to ensure each student’s safety and educational progress
