Qualifications & Experience
- Active fingerprint clearance card required
- Arizona Department of Education Standard K-12 Certification (Special Education) required
- Experience working in specialized educational environments, particularly with behavior and adaptive programs, is highly valued
- Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
- Comfort working onsite and engaging with students, teachers, and support staff
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction and support tailored to students’ IEPs across various settings, with assignments available for:
- Elementary Behavior
- Middle School Resource
- Middle School Behavior
- K-8 Behavior
- Elementary Adaptive
- Collaborate closely with other educators, related service providers, and families
- Collect data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Create a supportive, safe classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and growth for all students
- Attend professional development, staff meetings, and new teacher orientation
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
