Special Education Teacher | Boscobel, Wisconsin

This contract position begins August 18, 2026 and runs through June 3, 2027, engaging you across weekdays in a vibrant educational setting near Boscobel, WI.

Work with a projected caseload of 16-20 students in grades 9-12, each with unique learning profiles. You’ll benefit from the collaborative support of two dedicated educational assistants, allowing for more impactful instruction and individualized attention. Your expertise in special education will make a real difference as you shape curriculum, create inclusive learning environments, and advocate for student success.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin Special Education teaching license/certification
• Experience or strong understanding of cross-categorical special education for high school students
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and assessment for diverse learners
• Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills to work alongside staff, families, and support personnel
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and student advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to foster engagement and academic growth
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, families, and service providers
• Monitor student progress and document growth, adjusting supports as necessary
