Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Nevada OT license
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Able to manage a caseload of 50-55 students with diverse needs, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Skilled in completing evaluations, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy services within school settings
- Must meet time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting and drug screening prior to start
- Flexible and organized to travel between 3-4 assigned schools weekly
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized therapy to students in K-12 settings as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations to determine student needs and progress
- Deliver services on-site across multiple campuses (specific locations to be determined)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Adapt interventions and supports to meet diverse student needs
