School Occupational Therapist | Danbury, Connecticut

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with current credentials
• Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and the special education process
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Adaptability to meet a range of student needs within diverse school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in accordance with IEP goals
• Deliver direct therapy services to students, monitoring and documenting progress
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student success
• Support the implementation of interventions and accommodations within the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals, progress, and recommendations
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all school and district policies
