Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a dynamic educational environment on a contract basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping children and adolescents achieve their academic and developmental goals within a school setting.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with current credentials
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong understanding of IEPs and the special education process
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Adaptability to meet a range of student needs within diverse school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, monitoring and documenting progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Support the implementation of interventions and accommodations within the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals, progress, and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all school and district policies
