Job Description
Requirement/Must Have: Extensive experience using Autodesk Inventor to create, modify, and maintain 3D models, component drawings, and assembly drawings. Strong background in mechanical design, material selection, and component specification to optimize product cost, manufacturability, reliability, and performance. Experience with Autodesk Vault for document management. Proficiency in the Autodesk Inventor Tube & Pipe, Cable & Harness, and Sheet Metal environments. Experience with Enovia PLM. Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles. Familiarity with applicable ASTM standards. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills. Responsibilities: Creating and revising detailed engineering drawings and CAD models. Developing and presenting design review documentation. Supporting prototype builds, including procurement of prototype components. Performing system integration, troubleshooting, and prototype testing. Transferring designs to manufacturing and supporting production release activities. Generating and maintaining technical documentation, including assembly instructions, test procedures, installation guides, and service manuals. Developing electrical and system enclosures, vacuum system components, gas delivery systems, and pneumatic assemblies. Skills: Autodesk Inventor. Autodesk Vault. Tube & Pipe. Cable & Harness.
