  • Work schedule: Monday to Sunday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with overnight on-call from 5 PM to 8 AM.
  • Patient load: 13 to 14 patients per shift, focusing on inpatient rounding and admissions.
  • Practice environment: Inpatient hospital setting.
  • Call ratio: 1:3, requiring a 15-minute response time; no 24-hour shifts.
  • Required skills: Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, colonoscopy, PEG, and liver biopsy.
  • Additional skills: Esophageal dilatation, manometry, and small bowel biopsy.
  • Experience with Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion and management is necessary.
  • Potential for ongoing coverage extending into 2027.
