Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to early childhood students with diverse learning needs
• Adapt lesson plans to accommodate varying abilities and foster inclusive classroom environments
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess student progress regularly and document outcomes to ensure effective interventions and compliance
• Travel between school sites as scheduled; effectively manage time and resources for each location
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with both students and caregivers

Qualifications:

• Valid VT Early Childhood Endorsement, or eligibility for a provisional license
• Prior experience teaching pre-kindergarten or early elementary students, especially in special education settings, is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to changing caseloads throughout the school year
• Comfortable working full-time, but open to part-time availability if preferred
