Job Description
Deliver impactful educational support as a Special Education professional, working with middle and high school students in a dynamic and collaborative school setting. This contract opportunity involves providing targeted intervention and specialized instruction, making a meaningful difference in grades 7–12. The role offers flexible scheduling with a minimum of three days per week (21 hours) and the possibility for full-time hours. Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License is required
- Previous experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred
- Thorough understanding of Specializedly Designed Instruction (SDI) practices
- Demonstrated ability to support diverse learners through tailored strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to connect with students and staff
- Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized SDI for students with unique learning needs
- Monitor student progress using evidence-based methods, reporting findings to the team
- Design and facilitate instructional trials to reinforce learning and assess effectiveness
- Develop and provide student supports, ensuring accessibility and engagement
- Engage proactively with school staff and families to promote student growth
