Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
  • Previous experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in either instructional or resource roles
  • Strong classroom management and adaptive instructional strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Spanish/English bilingualism is highly desirable
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals and grade-level standards
  • Develop and implement instructional plans that accommodate varied learning styles
  • Assess student performance and maintain accurate records of progress
  • Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program planning
  • Provide a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment
  • Adapt curriculum materials and modify teaching methods as needed
