Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
- Previous experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in either instructional or resource roles
- Strong classroom management and adaptive instructional strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Spanish/English bilingualism is highly desirable
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals and grade-level standards
- Develop and implement instructional plans that accommodate varied learning styles
- Assess student performance and maintain accurate records of progress
- Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program planning
- Provide a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment
- Adapt curriculum materials and modify teaching methods as needed
