School Physical Therapist | Bristol, Connecticut

Situated near Bristol, CT, this full-time, districtwide contract position provides a chance to support and empower students across a K-12 caseload within a dynamic educational environment. Your expertise in school-based physical therapy will be integral in helping students reach their full physical potential, enhance their independence, and participate fully in educational activities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Credentials as a licensed Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach to working with teachers, staff, families, and administrators
• Commitment to in-person service delivery throughout the district (remote not available)
• Comfortable managing a diverse caseload spanning multiple age groups

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to K-12 students
• Conduct evaluations and create individualized education plan (IEP) goals
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Partner closely with educational staff to ensure carryover of strategies in the classroom
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student success
