Controller - A/E/C

Kforce's client, an architecture/engineering/construction company whose headquarters is in downtown Manhattan (New York, NY), is seeking a Controller. The work schedule is hybrid (3/2). Duties will include: Manage a small team Month-end close Prepare financial statements Other reporting Process improvement Audit prep and engagement Internal controls Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Advanced degree a plus CPA a plus Over 7 years of experience Experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Director, or VP Time Based industry experience a plus Public accounting experience, like Big 4 experience, a plus Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry experience a plus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
