Compression Molding Technician

Client of Express Employment Professionals currently hiring for: a Molding Technician M-F $18-$20 Hourly/DOE Must have steel toe boots with metatarsal plate Position Summary This position involves performing production work using plastic compression molding equipment. This will include filling molds and using presses and heating ovens to process plastic powder into shapes. General Duties Follow and promote safe work practices and demonstrate a zero tolerance for non-compliance of safety policies and regulations Operating multiple presses and heating ovens Use of various types of scales for weighing. Assembly and filling of molds per written instructions Load and unload items from machines, carts and dollies for processing Recording processing data accurately Follow Quality policy and related procedures Required Education and Experience High school diploma, GED equivalent, or 10 years of experience Plastics processing experience preferred Ability to safely drive and operate Forklift – certification preferred Must be able to speak, read and write English Ability to read a tape measure including fractions Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day and withstand repetitive motion Able to work revolving shifts and overtime when required Up to 720 hours of training as a compression molder on a temp-to-hire basis Apply online or at our office: Express can help you find the job that is a good fit for your needs and abilities, and you’ll never pay a fee for our services and support.
