What You'll Do
As a Logistics Specialist, you will support end-to-end logistics operations by coordinating the movement, tracking, and availability of aerospace materials and equipment.
Logistics Planning & Documentation
Prepare and maintain logistics documentation supporting the deployment and stocking of spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and technical manuals.
Establish and maintain logistics pipelines to ensure required resources are available when needed.
Route, document, and coordinate shipments while maintaining accurate records of equipment, components, repair parts, and associated documentation.
Track logistics materials and parts to ensure proper allocation within storage facilities.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory control activities.
Shipping & Supply Chain Operations
Coordinate domestic and international shipping activities while ensuring compliance with applicable state, federal, and global regulations.
Support import/export requirements and ensure shipping documentation is accurate and complete.
Apply supply chain and inventory management principles to improve material availability and operational efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels, storage requirements, and material movement to support aerospace operations.
Assist with receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution activities.
Systems & Process Support
Utilize inventory databases and logistics tracking systems to maintain accurate supply chain information.
Support the use of aviation maintenance tracking systems such as AvPro or similar platforms.
Maintain documentation related to shelf-life-controlled materials, hazardous materials, and regulated items.
Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance logistics performance and accuracy.
Team Collaboration
Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance, production, and warehouse teams to ensure mission-critical materials are available.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and transportation partners.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Typically four (4) or more years of relevant logistics, inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience.
Practical knowledge and experience applying inventory and supply chain/logistics principles and techniques.
Progressive experience working with inventory databases and logistics tracking systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to frequently walk, stand, climb stairs, and lift or carry materials up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems.
HazMat training or certification.
Forklift operation experience.
Experience using shipping systems such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL.
Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of shelf-life management practices.
Experience supporting aerospace, defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or military logistics operations.
Familiarity with aviation maintenance supply chain processes.
Work Environment & Safety Requirements
This is a safety-sensitive position supporting aerospace operations. The role may involve:
Handling, transporting, and tracking aircraft parts, equipment, and regulated materials.
Working around aviation equipment, warehouse operations, and logistics systems.
Occasional exposure to outdoor environmental conditions.
Occasional exposure to loud noises and industrial work environments.
Compliance with all applicable safety, security, and operational procedures.

Pay Details: $36.29 per hour
