About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Supplier Onboarding Operations Manager to lead our global supplier onboarding function and deliver an exceptional supplier experience from the very first interaction. In this role, you'll oversee the end-to-end supplier onboarding lifecycle, ensuring suppliers are onboarded accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
You'll lead a global operations team, partner with stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Treasury, and Technology, and drive continuous improvements that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and support scalable business growth.

You'll lead a global operations team, partner with stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Treasury, and Technology, and drive continuous improvements that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and support scalable business growth.
What You'll Do
Lead Global Supplier Onboarding Operations
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the global supplier onboarding program, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant supplier onboarding across multiple regions.
- Lead and develop a global team responsible for supplier onboarding, supplier master data maintenance, payment enablement, and supplier lifecycle management.
- Monitor operational performance, capacity, and service levels to ensure a high-quality experience for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex onboarding issues requiring cross-functional collaboration.
- Drive operational excellence through performance monitoring, workload management, and continuous service improvements.
- Oversee supplier due diligence activities, including tax documentation, sanctions screening, supplier verification, banking validation, and compliance reviews.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Tax, Treasury, Security, and Third-Party Risk Management teams to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure supplier documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
- Identify operational risks, control gaps, and process exceptions while implementing corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining strong operational controls and documentation.
- Oversee supplier master data governance to ensure supplier information remains accurate, complete, and secure.
- Manage supplier payment setup activities, including banking verification, payment method configuration, and tax validation.
- Maintain controls surrounding supplier record updates and payment information changes.
- Partner with Accounts Payable and Treasury to improve payment readiness while minimizing operational and fraud risk.
- Lead initiatives that improve onboarding cycle times and first-pass quality.
- Continuously evaluate supplier onboarding processes to identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and improved stakeholder experience.
- Collaborate with Procurement Technology and IT teams to implement workflow enhancements and system improvements.
- Develop operational dashboards and reporting to measure onboarding volume, cycle times, quality, SLA performance, and compliance.
- Conduct root cause analyses and implement sustainable process improvements.
- Support procurement transformation initiatives by helping scale standardized global onboarding processes.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, and operational documentation.
- Establish performance metrics and quality standards aligned with Procurement Operations goals.
- Build strong partnerships across Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and business teams to drive effective execution and an outstanding supplier experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in supplier onboarding, procurement operations, supplier management, accounts payable, or shared services within a complex global organization.
- 1+ years of experience leading or supervising operational teams.
- Strong understanding of supplier onboarding processes, supplier master data, tax documentation, payment setup, and procure-to-pay (P2P) operations.
- Experience partnering with Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience managing operational performance using KPIs, SLAs, quality metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of operational controls, audit requirements, and supplier data governance.
- Experience leading process improvement and technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, supplier onboarding platforms, procurement orchestration tools, and workflow automation solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across organizations, lead through ambiguity, and build scalable operational processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or a related field (preferred but not required).
