Elementary Special Education Teacher in Fountain, CO

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid CDE license with a mild to moderate endorsement
• Experience working with elementary-aged children is highly valued
• Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Your Role:

• Deliver tailored special education services to a diverse group of students in grades 2–5
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) responsive to each student’s unique needs
• Work in partnership with general education teachers and specialists to create an engaging, accessible learning experience for all
• Track student progress, maintain documentation, and communicate regularly with families
• Encourage and support each student’s growth, confidence, and independence by adapting instructional methods and classroom management strategies as needed
