Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time role spans August 2026 through June 2027, offering a dynamic experience supporting K-12 students across multiple schools in a collaborative district environment. With a districtwide focus, you’ll make a positive impact as the sole psychologist for the year—providing assessment, consultation, and direct support to students, staff, and families.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification required
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous school-based or K-12 experience preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable traveling between school sites within the district
- Must be available for on-site, in-person support (no remote options)
- Open to professionals eager to support diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and behavioral assessments for K-12 students
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and behavior plans
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and MTSS meetings
- Support staff and families with strategies for student success
- Attend professional development and districtwide meetings as required
