Key Qualifications:
- Active Nevada Occupational Therapy license required
- Previous experience in school-based OT or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Ability to manage and organize a caseload of 50-55 students across K-12
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, assessments, and delivering both direct and consultative therapy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff
- Must complete mandated background checks and fingerprinting, along with a drug screening
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide OT services across 3-4 schools, supporting students at various campuses; specific site locations will be determined
- Perform comprehensive therapy sessions, evaluations, and assessments fostering students’ academic and functional growth
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans while monitoring student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to maximize student participation in school activities
- Document therapy encounters thoroughly and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
