Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Indiana School Psychologist license
  • Background in psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determination is highly desirable
  • Thorough understanding of special education law and compliance
  • Effective collaborative and communication skills for working with staff and families
  • Comfortable handling a robust caseload with efficiency and professionalism

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Complete an estimated 60–80 special education evaluations over the school year
  • Primarily work with three PreK–6 elementary schools and one 7th/8th grade middle school, with caseload adjustments possible depending on in-person or virtual status
  • Partner with educators, administrators, and families to support student development and access to services
  • Participate in monthly team meetings and report directly to a district supervisor
  • Maintain accurate records and deliver timely evaluation reports
