Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a self-contained classroom, providing instruction and nurturing a positive learning atmosphere for a caseload of 10-20 students
• Customize lesson plans to address unique learning needs and IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to support student achievement
• Monitor academic progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom where students feel empowered and respected
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation as required
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to broader school initiatives
