Open Positions & Essential Requirements:
- Life Skills Teacher (Moderate Intervention)
- Possess a Moderate Intervention certification
- Hours: 7:20 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.
- Serve an approximate caseload of 10–15 students
- Structured Teach (Autism Support) Teacher (Mild Intervention)
- Hold a Mild Intervention certification
- Hours: 8:20 a.m. – 4:10 p.m.
- Guide a similar caseload of 10–15 students
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with elementary or secondary students with special needs
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff and families
- Passion for fostering an inclusive and structured learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and adapt lesson plans aligned with student IEPs
- Cultivate an encouraging classroom atmosphere for student growth
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Proactively engage with support staff, parents, and administration to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all special education regulations
