Emergency Medicine Locum

Our organization is in search of an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Florida. Below are the specifics of the position:

• Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed - ongoing opportunity
• Electronic Medical Record System: Meditech PDOC for charting
• Qualifications: Board Certified/Board Prepared in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABOEM), along with ACLS and PALS certifications are mandatory
• Shift Details: 12-hour shifts available for both days and nights
• Coverage: 24-hour physician presence required
• Emergency Department Size: 11-bed facility
• Patient Transfers: Patients needing admission will be transferred to the main campus, ensuring a smooth transition to our skilled intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
• Annual Patient Volume: Approximately 9,000
• Licensing: Florida medical license is required
