Qualifications you'll need:
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active and current Occupational Therapy license in the respective state
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
- Creating individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Providing direct and consultative OT services in an educational setting
- Documenting progress, maintaining records, and participating in IEP meetings
- Educating staff and families about accommodations and strategies
