An exciting contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide services to early childhood and kindergarten students from August 20, 2026, through November 3, 2026. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) is ideal for passionate, dedicated therapists who thrive in collaborative school settings and are eager to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license (OT) in Illinois
  • Experience working with early childhood and kindergarten populations in a school setting
  • Knowledge of pediatric therapy best practices and IEP development
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Adaptability to work within various classroom environments

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions to support the development of foundational motor, sensory, and self-help skills in young learners
  • Assess students’ needs and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create supportive, accessible classroom strategies
  • Provide direct therapy in small group and one-on-one settings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services rendered
  • Participate in team meetings, staff consultations, and professional development as needed
